SV

The SV chassis

The SV is the larger Caterham chassis. It’s wider than the S3, with more room in the cockpit and more space for luggage, while keeping the look and feel of a Seven.

It’s the natural choice for taller or broader drivers, and for anyone planning to cover real miles. The extra elbow room and boot space make a big difference on a long trip. The trade-off is a little extra weight, though most drivers would never notice it on the road.

Many of the most popular models were built in both sizes, so you can usually find the engine and spec you want as an SV. Not sure which suits you? Read which Caterham chassis do I need?, then come and try both for size.
