Caterham Supersport 135

The revvy 1.6L K-Series engine, with it’s high lift cams and lightweight flywheel, produces an energetic and engaging drive which is hard to replicate from any of Caterham’s current range. The anti-cavitation system ensures no lack of oil supply whatever the occasion, and the short ratio 5 speed gearbox provides the perfect accompaniment to the peaky little K-Series, keeping it in its ideal rev range and providing frantic acceleration. It then of course boasts the limited slip differential which offers excellent traction out of corners on circuits and is of course a must for doughnut practice!

This Supersport was originally ordered to take part in Caterham’s Academy series in 2007 before going on to be upgraded to Mega-Grad spec. This included the engine upgrade to 135bhp, lightweight flywheel, limited slip differential and the stiffer adjustable Supersport suspension.

After wrapping up it’s racing carear, it was subsequently loving converted back into a road spec Caterham, with comfortable leather seats, a beautifully flocked Alcantara dashboard and a full fresh paint job in Lotus Camel Racing Yellow. Now freshly serviced and reconditioned, this superb little Supersport is ready for a new home and would make an excellent companion to any petrolhead.
