Caterham Roadsport 135

This lovely 1997 Roadsport is powered by a 1600cc K-Series “Supersport” engine, which produced 135bhp with is mild high-lift cams, offering a sweet free revving engine, with plenty of pull towards the upper reaches of the 7,400rpm rev range. This gives it plenty of punch, as well as bags of character. That power is transferred to the road via a Ford Type-9 gearbox and an open differential, giving it lovely driving manners and beautifully spaced gear ratios.

Having originally been supplied with swept “clamshell” wings, this example was converted to cyclewings, but can be easily changed back if desired, and comes with its original clamshell wings.

It’s most recent keeper had this car for a little over 12 years, covering around 15,000 miles in that time, and having it regularly serviced.

Now with just 32,000 miles on the clock, this is an extremely usable Seven, with charm in abundance, and is ready for a loving new home.
