The Sigma 150 engine was an upgrade to the original Sigma 125. This included higher lift cams, bigger injectors and most importantly, throttle bodies. Not only did this engine produce an additional 25bhp to its stock variant, it transformed the driving experience. Throttle bodies add character in spades, transforming average engines in racing machines, with razor sharp responsiveness and a soundtrack that will send pulses soaring.

This Roadsport SV 150 offers a brilliant balance between character and usability. The 150bhp provided by the engine up front is just right for enjoying the open roads, with enough grunt to keep anyone entertained, and with plenty of drama from those throttle bodies.

The larger SV chassis offers the space and comfort thanks to the well refined Roadsport options, including Caterham’s softer suspension set up, supportive but very comfortable leather seats, cockpit heater and full weather equipment.

Then theres the look. Painted in Caterham’s Firecracker Yellow with Black noseband and bonnet stripe, this is one of Caterham’s boldest and most iconic colour combinations. Complete with the “Black pack” options,15" Anthracite Superlight alloys and a Carbon fibre dashboard, this car looks modern and sporty.

With only 10600 miles on the clock, this is a very low mileage example of these great cars, and it has been brilliantly taken care of. The most recent owner took the car over to well known engine tuners Northampton Motorsport, who put it on their rolling road and refined the engine to offer the best performance and drivability. In doing so they found an additional 8bhp, making this Sigma 150 and Sigma 158!
