This Roadsport is a great example of what fabulous toys Caterham’s can be for the roads. Originally a K-Series 1.6 120bhp Roadsport, this Montecarlo Blue beauty has been lovingly upgraded over the years and is now nothing less than a joy to drive.
The engine was upgraded by the fabled K-Series guru, Dave Andrews of DVA Performance, who fitted high lift cams, Jenvey throttle boddies and an Emerald ECU system. This engine, now capable of achieving over 180bhp has been slightly tuned back to offer a smooth and refined delivery of power. It has also been fitted with an airbox to reduce the noise level of the engine.
The Brakes have been upgraded to Hi-Tech discs and callipers all around, providing immense stopping power that will never give up.
