The Roadsport 120 was the first Caterham to really become a seriously usable, potentially even every day Seven. It first appeared in the mid 90’s as Caterham moved away from the Live Axle cars of the past and towards De-Dion becoming the prominent chassis. Whilst the very first Roadsport’s (a limited edition at the time of 30 cars made in 1994) came with the 1400cc K-Series, producing 128bhp, the 1600cc made for a big step in practicality with considerably more torque and with that, drivability on the roads.

This Roadsport was built in 2000 and has had just two owners from then. One of the early cars with the handbrake hidden under the dashboard, it has a real charm and character to it, feeling a little bit more like a retro classic car. Despite its age, it is in surprisingly good condition in pretty much all aspects. The paint still looks good, and has a nice shine to it, the chassis is clean with powdercoating in tact, and it drives beautifully, with an incredibly smooth power delivery from the 1.6 K-Series.
