Caterham Classic 1.4

The Classic was Caterham’s entry level model, keeping the options simple and the cost low. Typically offered to the market with Caterham’s lowest performance engines, and as few options as possible as standard. Even paint was an optional extra!

This Classic is powered by the fuel injected 1.4L K-Series engine, producing 105bhp. Ample for exploring the Great British roads. There was a power upgrade available for these engines, which included a high lift cam and bumps these up to 128bhp.

The K-Series engine offers tremendous character. The all-aluminium block keeps the engines light and responsive, with excellent tuning capabilities. The 1.4 and the 1.6 are known for their extremely revy nature, with a very short piston stroke. The 1.8’s offering an extra chunk of torque, with potential upgrades taking them well beyond 200bhp.

This Classic, which has been fully painted in Yellow and then fitted with traditional British Racing Green nose cone and wings, was one of the very last K-Series cars to leave the factory. Built and registered in 2010, this Classis has covered just over 6000 miles from new, and presents excellently. If what you are looking for is a very clean, tidy and unmolested Seven to go simply enjoy the open roads, this makes for a superb option.
