Caterham 1800 Supersport

Now this is a great example of a proper old school Caterham Supersport, bursting with personality and a real traditional charm. This K-Series powered Seven was a playful, versatile and user friendly model that brought huge smiles to petrolheads across the country. Its responsiveness, power and grip levels proved to be the absolute sweet spot for a fun filled road going Seven which has since been replicated again and again by the Caterham factory.

This example, painted in the iconic Lotus green and yellow livery which these cars are so famous for, was originally built in 1996 as a 1600 Supersport before being upgraded in the early 2000’s to an 1800cc unit. It has stacks of history dating right back to that period and has been both loved and diligently maintained throughout its life. This might just be one of the best value for money Caterham’s one could buy if you are looking for “smiles per pound”, and is without doubt an example which optimises what great toys these little machines really are.
