There are a few different versions of bonnets and nosecones, largely influenced by the engines Caterham have used over the years. In this video we’re going to show you how to remove them, and provide some top tips along the way.
– All Caterham bonnets are held on with four catches, while the nose cone has sprung-loaded “dzus” fasteners.
– Top tip: stretching out the bottom of the sprung-loaded catches can prevent them from rattling against the car’s side skin.
– When removing the bonnet, it’s important to lift it upwards and push it off whilst being mindful of the air filter.
