We took a 1.6L Sigma-engined Caterham out for a spin, and asked “could this be the best Caterham?”
It’s plenty powerful and fast enough for road driving, with a 0-60 time of only 4.8 seconds! The Sigma engine is lighter than the more powerful Duratec, giving these cars a delicate feel.
They’re great fun to drive on B roads, under the legal speed limit, yet powerful enough to also be fun on track.
