Caterham "Superwhite R"

This really interesting and highly modified Seven started its life as an Academy car back in 2007. From there it has been modified and upgraded beyond all recognition and is now a super, high performance and nearly immaculate Seven that any enthusiast would be proud to own.

The car itself was converted back into a road car in 2012, and over the next five years was upgraded steadily into the car you see today. A complete record has been kept throughout this cars life, which now spans several files, and includes images of it from new, through various stages of its life progression.

The engine was up originally build by Dave Andrews of DVA performance in 2015, before being stripped and rebuilt in 2024 by well known Caterham motorsports specialists BOSS Racing. It includes fully forged internals and now produces a reliable and extremely exciting 185bhp! It is also a beautifully crafted piece of engineering, having been mated to a later generation Duratec dry sump tank, and freshly rebuilt gold dry sump pump. It also has a light-weight flywheel and a limited slip differential, ensuring the most exhilarating driving experience.

Exactly where the name “Superwhite R” came from, I am not sure, but it feels very befitting of this exceptionally well prepared and presented Seven, which delivers performance very similar to that of an origianl “Superlight R”
