Caterham Supersport SV VCT-i 152

This was one of the very last Caterham Supersports produced before the company rebranded their range to the now “270”, “310”, “420” etc identities.

Complete with the 152bhp 1.6 VCT-i engine and all of the “R” options, this is effectively a full spec 310R just without the badge.

The 310 model offers the perfect balance of power and grip for maximum fun and usability. A notable upgrade from the 270, the 310 provides more power throughout the rev range, which is also extended over the 270 model. This provides that extra punch when picking your way through traffic and gives the 310 a racier feel with its higher rev limit.

Coupled with the “R pack”, the 310 is sharpened and honed into one of the very best models ever to leave the Caterham factory. Whilst the 310R is still excellent on the roads, the sport suspension, lightened flywheel and limited slip differential all contribute to providing the driver huge amounts of extra feel which in turn allows more confidence to really exploit this most playful of Caterham’s.

This absolutely stunning example has been built using the SV chassis and finished in Reflex Blue with White Superlight stripes. Despite the sporty mechanical spec of the car, it has been finished inside with comfortable leather seats, a heater and all of the other nice “mod cons” Caterham have to offer. In addition to these, the previous owner has created a very neat and modern interior lighting package using coloured LED strip lights.

This then is a Caterham of terrific specification, but under the skin and on top, in terrific condition throughout and at a better value than one of its newly branded compatriots.
