This is a heavily upgraded Supersport, complete Premier Power F175 engine, and ultra-light weight flywheel and clutch.
This F175 upgrade increased the power of the 1.6l Sigma engine from 140 to 175bhp. In addition to this extra power, this Supersport was also fitted with PP’s ultra light weight flywheel and clutch system, sharpening the throttle response and aiding the transfer of power from the engine to the rear wheels. This upgrade gives the car a very revvy nature, with lots of power towards the upper reaches of the rev range, and makes an absolutely sensational noise as it does so.
The previous owner of this car has had it for the last 10 years, and during that time, it has been his pride and joy. No penny has been spared in this cars preparation or development. As well as all of the mechanical upgrades, it underwent a full respray just a few years ago, and was covered from head to toe in paint protection film immediately afterwards. So cosmetically, it presents every bit as well as it drives.
Another lovely little touch, is the Peltor intercom system fitted neately under the dash. This allows the driver and the passenger to talk to eachother perfectly via noise cancelling headphones, as well as the ability to attach either a phone or a radio to it to communicate with other cars.
This is one of the best prepared used Caterham’s you could hope to find on the open market place, and will make for a sensational toy for it’s next owner!
