Description
The Supersport was one of Caterham’s most popular models. It found the perfect sweet spot between power and grip, much like the original Superlight managed back in the late 90’s. It came complete with a revvy 1600cc engine, lightened flywheel, sports suspension and a limited slip differential as standard, for maximum fun factor!
The 140bhp Sigma engine produces a lovely, smooth delivery of midrange torque, making for a effortless driving around the roads of Britian. But unlike the 125, the Supersport’s high lift cams provide an additional surge of power from around 5,500rpm, and then pull hard right the way up to limiter at 7,400rpm! This top end performance makes for an exciting driving machine, which can be pushed to extract the most from it, and rewards those who do.
Painted in bright Kawasaki Green, and fitted with rare and luxurious GT leather seats, this Supersport is a lovely example which will get anyone’s pulse racing.
