Caterham Roadsport 140

This Roadsport started it’s life in the Caterham Academy in 2010. It’s only owner was keen to experience motorsport first hand, and after gentle start, made his way towards the middle of the grid by the end of that season.

Come 2011, he decided not to pursue motorsport any further, and instead decided to keep the car for enjoying out on the open roads. Much of the origianl Academy spec remained, including the full FIA roll cage, plumbed in fire extinguisher and the Tillet seats. However the mechanical specifications, he changed quite a bit.

Northampton motorsport, a well known Caterham engine tuner, upgraded the engine to Supersport specification, increasing the bhp from 125, up to 140. Premier Power, another very well known Caterham engine builder, fitted their own custom made ultra-lightweight flywheel and clutch system, significantly increasing the responsiveness of the car. To cap it off, he then had it fitted with a close ratio 6 speed gearbox, giving the car a really engertic character.

The love he has bestowed upon this car over the last 15 years is obvious, in its absolutley immaculate presentation. Now, with just under 30,000 miles on the clock, it is ready for a loving new home.
