This pretty, 1998, Firecracker Yellow Roadsport is a great reminder of how little the Seven has changed in the last 25 years. Jumping into the cockpit, everything from the seats to the dash layout and even the steering wheel, are very much the same. More to the point, the driving excitement is still very much there, when fizzing through the winding B roads which scatter the countryside.

This example is powered by a 1600cc K-Series “Supersport” engine, which produced 135bhp with is mild high-lift cams, offerring a sweet free revving engine, with plenty of pull towards the upper reaches of the 7,400rpm rev range. Like the original Superlight, which also used this revvy K-Series, this Roadsport is also fitted with a 6-speed close ratio gearbox, allowing for simply magical gear changes which drop you right back into the powerband each time you pull a new gear.

This Roadsport has been with its most recent owner for nearly 15 years, and has only had 3 owners throughout its entire 27 year life so far. Having covered just 23,000 miles in that time, it a low mileage example of a car from its era.

As a car of over 25 years old, this car is eligable for export to many parts of the world as a classic car. However, it would also make for a wonderful petrolheads companion here in the UK too.
