Caterham Roadsport 125

The Roadsport 125 was Caterham’s bread and butter Seven for many years. Fun, refined and incredibly user friendly, these were Caterhams which could almost be used every day.

The 1.6L Sigma engine produced ample performance for an enjoyable road car, and being a Caterham, was also more than capable of upsetting some very powerful cars on a trackday. The Sigma engine produces a very smooth delivery of torque and power, with a nice amount of noise, whilst also going quite when you want it too. Oh, and lets not forget the pops and bangs at low revs!

This particular example was initially built to take part in Caterham’s Academy series, however after just the first year, was converted into a purely road going car. The cage, fire extinguisher and bucket seats were all swapped out and made way for carpets, leather seats and a heater. The body of the car was wraped in a combination of orange and carbon effect, with a very sporty livery across the back panel.

Having sold this car to 5 of its 6 owners, it is a car we know very well here at Turn 7, and can attest to what a nice and well looked after machine it is.
