Caterham Classic VX

This Classic offers a fantastic entry level Caterham experience with all the character and fun you could want and expect. The 1.6l Vauxhall 8 valve engine provides a smooth delivery of torque and power with a wonderful noise being produced by the twin 40 Webber carburettors.

This beautifully presented Classic started it’s life back in the 2000’s as one of the Caterham Academy cars of it’s day. It subsequently spent several years competing in the Caterham Graduates Racing Club where it took, and still holds, the lap record for its class at Zolder.

Having been exceptionally cared for throughout its life on the track, it was then converted with great care and expense back into the very smart road car it is today. Following a trip to ARCH Motors, where the chassis was rigorously checked, it was supplied with a complete new set of aluminium panels. It also then received all new fibreglass, its windscreen and weather equipment, new leather seats, heater and carpeted interior, as well as a through service and inspection which details to many bushes, bearings and other small extras to list.

Having now undergone this extensive conversion and having spent a few years and many happy miles on the roads of the UK, this exceptionally prepared Classic VX is now ready for a loving new home.
