The 1700 Supersprint is a car which has an enormous following amoungst Seven enthusiasts.
Powered by an upgraded Ford (Kent) Crossflow engine, they produced 135bhp, and all the character and charm you could ask for from a carburetter’d engine. Twin 40 Webbers protrude from the side of the bonnet and produce the most intoxicating induction roar.
This is one of the last of these magnificent Crossflow powerd Sevens, having been registered in 1998. This live axle edition comes with a 5 speed gearbox, uprated Nitron springs and dampers, and an enormous number of “trick bits” within the engine itself, deliving maximum performance and reliability.
Finished in polished aluminium, with green bodywork, including the iconic flared wheel arches, this is a fabulous looking Seven which sound as good as it looks.
