Caterham Academy Roadsport

The Caterham Academy is quite possibly the best way for a complete ameture to get into the world of Motorsport. The cars are perfectly designed to be friendly and confidence inspiring, without the speeds getting too high. They are also all fully road registered cars, which means that the owners can play with them on the open roads, as well as on track.

The Academy is only a one year package, with a ladder to be climbed from there if owners decide to continue racing. The second year, known as “Roadsports”, keeps the cars largely the same, but with a slight power increase and some stickier tyres.

This Roadsport was built to take part in the Caterham Academy in 2019, before competing in the following years Roadsport Series. After that, this car became a fun road car which was ocassionaly used for trackdays as well as being upgraded with a Tracsport limited slip differential.

With just over 7000 miles on the clock, it is still a very young machine, and has been excellently set up for a mixture of life on the road and track.

Overall, this would be absolutely perfect for someone looking for an entry level trackday car, to hone their driving skills without the need to be too precious over thier car. The addition of the LSD makes for an even more enjoyable experience, and the power to grip ratio is pretty much perfect.
