Description
This Supersport started its life as a Palmer Sport car, offering Caterham driving experiences to the paying customers. After a four-year stint with Palmer Sport, it was sold back to Caterham where it was then acquired by an experienced racing driver. His vision was to develop this Seven into a monster racing car and as such commissioned the full strip and rebuild of the car to its current specification. The complete build process took a couple of years, and included some very high-quality parts, including a brand new Mountune built Duratec engine and Quaife sequential gearbox.
Having completed all these works by mid-2006, at significant expense, life just unfortunately got in the way for this cars creator, leaving this incredible machine to sit in the corner and gather dust.
Some 15 years on, Turn 7 Limited have rescued this Supersport and taken it through a full recommissioning and shake down before making it available for a loving new home.
Though this car was road registered in 1998 and could theoretically be used on the road, it does not currently have provisions for lights or other road going requirements. It would however be perfectly at home on racetrack, having almost all of the required equipment to go motor racing. It would simply need a fresh set of racing harnesses and a new fire extinguisher to be eligible to race, or could be used immediately as an awesome trackday machine.
As a trackday/race car, this car cannot be provided with a warranty but viewings and inspections are warmly welcomed. Footage of this car running on its shakedown day can also be provided.
