This Roadsport SV was one of the very last K-Series cars to leave the Dartford factory. Registered in 2011, it started its life as a 1.4L Roadsport, before having the engine swapped out by one of its more recent owners to the VVC power unit it now hides beneath the bonnet louvres.

The VVC engine added a new delivery of power for Caterham when it was introduced to the range in the early 2000's. This new version of the K-Series engine, suddenly offered Caterham's a large dose of torque, which made them superb for extended road journeys in Sevens. All that torque allowing for lazy cruising and easy overtakes without the need the change down.
