A week ago today was the second running of _The Tea Run by CL7C & Turn 7_. Once again, we were hosted by the lovely team at Cedar Court Hotels in Harrogate, who provided the perfect venue to base the event from.

150 beautifully colourful Sevens gathered in the car park before setting out on a 150 mile loop of the picturesque Yorkshire Dales. The weather was superb, as was BBQ provided by the hotel on the front lawn.

The atmosphere throughout the event was overwhelmingly positive. On the Friday night we hosted a charity dinner, including a raffle and a surprise auction. The efforts that went into _"Loud Shirt & Dress Night"_ at Saturday's BBQ were absolutely fantastic!

Thanks to the generosity of participants, sponsors and the hotel themselves, **the event raised a massive £5,000** for the club's charity, [Prostate Cancer Research](https://www.prostate-cancer-research.org.uk).
